American Bulldog General George - 2 x BEST IN SHOW
Monday, June 28th, 2010American Bulldog Bubba from Abe and Matilda
Saturday, June 26th, 2010Steel City Bubba is owned by John and Linda Williams or Lindsay Ontario. Produced in house in 2007 Bubba is a registered Canadian Champion both as puppy and adult as well as Molosser Champion. American Bulldog Bubba was first shown at the Toronto sportsman show Rare breeds show and the judges like him, Alot. Both days he took Best of Puppy of Breed and Best of Breed. He was also took 3rd overall dog in the entire show in a field of close to 300 dogs. With champions like BARBOSA BULLDOZER BO, RAZORS EDGE TAZ MAN, CH SS SHINER, three shots of Senior Grand Champion DEVINES MAJOR BULLY is there any question why. His Grampa is SS BOWEVIL one of the thickest correct ABs Ive ever seen. In 2008 Bubba became a Champion and the first from our kennel. He also accumulated more point in 2008 over all other dogs shown. That field of over 500 dogs+. Hes maturing well and still needs to put on his last 10lbs to really come into his own in 2009. its been my observation that the american bulldog male doent fully mature physically till 36 months. I have to ask myself if hes doing this well in 2008 what does 2009 have in store.
A point of interest to Bubba is his half sister Akilla of AMK. Akilla was bred by AMK by way of using Abe of Razors Edge and a dog we produced Steel City Stella from a Chopper X Matilda breeding. Bubba came from Abe and Matilda. Making the two dogs half siblings and for all intense purposes from the same line. Akilla was sold to what I would consider a premier Canadian kennel from Quebec called Bully Rascalz and these folks love there dogs. A real quality breeding program that puts an emphasis on showing bulldogs at the highest levels of competition. At 2 years of age Akilla was entered in to what most would consider the most important shows on the east coast of the US and maybe the world as far as American Bulldogs go. The beast of the east. I wish i was there to see it with my own eyes when Akilla took best in show. Since then Akilla has won best in show at a NKC show in South Carolina. Not bad for a Canadian Bulldog.
Were excited by these dogs and there accomplishments. The dog community has taken to these dogs and we cant wait to see what the future brings. Bubba is available for stud service.
American Bulldog General George became a Canadian Champion
Saturday, June 19th, 2010Hi guys,
Just a quick update after Caledonia. We were hoping to see you there so that you could see George, but understandably, things do come up. George did great this weekend, winning best of breed in all 4 shows. In the first show, he finished 4th out of 8 dogs for best in group.
That same day in the afternoon, George went on to win Reserve best in show. Yesterday (Sunday) the best he did was a best in group in the afternoon, and a third best in group in the morning. We’re very proud of him, as he accumulated enough points this weekend to make his a champion. We wanted to share the great news with you guys.
Hope you’re all well.
Hope to hear from you soon,
Claudia and Dave

Stay
I pulled into the crowded parking lot at the local shopping center and rolled Down the car windows to make sure my
American bulldog Pup had fresh air. He was stretched full-out on the back seat And I wanted to impress upon him that she must
remain there. I walked to the curb backward, Pointing my finger at the car and saying emphatically,
‘Now you stay. Do you hear me?’
‘Stay! Stay!’
The driver of a nearby car, Gave me a strange look and said,
‘Why don’t you just put it in Park?
