American Bulldog T- Bone - holiday

Thursday, August 5th, 2010

The pictures below are from our holiday out west last week. We flew from Ontario and spent a week in the Jasper National park. 3 days we spent back-country camping and hiking covering 36 KM in 3 days. Not bad for one man, one 8 year old boy and a 16 month old bulldog! I will try to post a video as well!

American Bulldog T-Bone from Bubba and Bubbles

Saturday, May 15th, 2010

Hi Martin and Kinga
attached are some pictures of american bulldog T-Bone and a couple with his best friend, my son!
It has been one year since we traveled to meet all the american bulldogs and the puppies. From all those american bulldog puppies we remember the moment we chose T-Bone and he became a part of our family. On the ride home he fell asleep in my son’s lap and they both stayed that way for the 3 hour ride to our house. They have been inseparable for the last year with T-Bone slowly taking up more and more room on my son’s bed!
On average T-Bone has grown 10 pounds a month for the first 10 months and slowed down, he eats Royal Canine and raw ground beef, raw beef soup bones are his favorite snack! At 14 months he’s at 105 pounds but muscular and fit due to ongoing off leash exercise with his brother Gator and other Am. bull Callie!
Clearly, I think T-Bone’s confirmation is awesome! His head and build are totally Johnson american bulldog!! The funniest reaction is when I tell people he is still a puppy at 14 months and he is still growing…but although we are proud of T-Bone’s physcial presence we are most happy with his disposition and demeanor. He is a supremely confident dog with all people and other animals, he is non-aggressive but is quick to be assertive if needed. Bottom line, he is a wonderful dog and we couldn’t imagine our home and family without him.
I am looking forward to getting him to some shows in Ontario this summer for you to see him!

he is beautiful. thank you for the photos - keep an eye on him playing with the brother - testosterone may kick in around females just keep that in mind.

Oh T-Bone has quite a lot of testosterone….and we watch and listen to Gator and T-Bone carefully when we are hiking. The key is to stay moving and roam, they crash through the bushes and play keep away with sticks, and when they playfight we listen to the pitch of their barks and snarls to change, but the playfighting has really declined instead they enjoy playing with an object (sticks, balls etc).
T-Bone also goes into boarding kennels when I travel where they do supervised playgroups and they always tell me he plays well with others!

American bulldogs Gator from Bubba and Bubbles and Cali

Friday, March 19th, 2010

Hey Martin & Kinga,

Just wanted to give you a 1 year update on American bulldog Gator (from Bubba & Bubbles litter) and Cali (from Sonia’s litter) Cali is 9 months old.

Gator just turned 1 year on March 13th.

They are both doing great, we had Gator weighed on his birthday and he was 98.5 pounds of pure handsome and Cali weighed 85 pounds of pure sexiness.

We included some pictures just taken a day or two ago. They get out every single day (even in the winter). They love ground beef, raw bones and dog parks.

We still get together every Saturday with Gator’s brother T-Bone and we hope to continue doing so for years to come.

Thanks for producing some great puppies.

Matt & Elissa

A 9 month update on AMERICAN BULLDOG T-Bone

Monday, December 28th, 2009

Hi Guys:
A 9 month update on T-Bone; first I am still planning on showing him with you at the Sportsmans Show in Toronto so keep me updated!
T-Bone continues to be an integral part of our family! My son and I are very happy we walked away from Linda’s place 7 months ago with the little chunky 20 lb puppy. He is now 95lb’s and as you can see from the pictures he is alert, agile, and fit with plenty of ways to be amused from learning to play chess to chasing remote control trucks!
T-Bone is socialized around the neighborhood and every week has a playdate with his litter-brother Gator and ‘cousin’ Callie. T-Bone has playmates of all different sizes from Yorkies to Great Danes and plays well with all of them. Even at 9 months he has little tolerance for aggressive dogs and will assert himself accordingly thus it is best for him to play with other confident well socailzed dogs!
He is an awesome dog that continues to make us smile everyday and happy to see his face at the front door when we come home.
take care and happy holidays!
Euan and Calum
