IMPORTANT PLEASE READ.
Dear Supporters of Cheri’s Bill 222;
Facebook group pages are limited. Once over five thousand members we can no longer message members or put out Event Pages to all members. We just deleted 150 plus members to put this and the by-election message out. It is imperative that you join the www.stopcanineprofiling.com
website due to these restrictions.
There are new posters put up on our Facebook site. We are asking people to print them off and put them up in cities and small towns ALL over Ontario promoting the www.stopcanineprofiling.com website and BEG YOU TO JOIN THAT SITE also. Files are there for YOU to use on that site when discussing BSL with your MPP’s. Let Dalton know that people DO CARE about the senseless slaughter of innocent dogs in Ontario and our voices will be heard.
We have requested the number of Ontario residents, from Attorney General Chris Bentley; London West, of those who have been “ticketed” for having illegal dogs for the years 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009. Responsible owners that have refused to “hand over their family dogs to be euthanized” and elected to face the courts and incur great expense to SAVE their dogs. To date the AG’s office has not responded. Maybe if he received more requests he would respond? cbentley.mpp.co@liberal.ola.org
Many politicians are NOT getting back to their constituents regarding supporting Bill 222. PLEASE be diligent and insist that your voice be heard. If people can go in groups to their MPP’s office, please do so. They have a responsibly to get back to the voters, not ignore them. Look in the “DISCUSSION” boards for more information on this. INSIST that this time Dalton does NOT WHIP THE VOTE.
We are planning a letter writing campaign to Dalton McGuinty’s office, as he said HE had no interest in rethinking THE BAN. I wonder what would happen if his office received thousands of letters within a certain and pre planned two day period? An event page will be set up shortly for this campaign.
We are planning a LARGE support rally for Bill 222 on August 29th, 2010 (just before the 2nd vote), the date of the FIFTH BANiversity. In the past it has been held at Queens Park and we are reviewing other venues. Queens Park has many restrictions and we would prefer a venue this year that will allow many activities. Contests, a seller’s market, music, games and maybe even an agility course. A EVENT page will be set up for this about 4 months in advance. We will be asking people throughout Ontario to attend. Small towns and cities can arrange mass transportation in order to attend Toronto’s rally.
We will not be able to get BILL 222 through legislation without your help, support or involvement.
Keep the faith. Get involved and SAVE OUR DOGS.
