What is wrong with BSL ( Breed Specific Legislation)
- unsubstantiated by fact or scientific reasearch
- does nothing to address the real issue – the criminal or irresponsible owner
- does nothing to prevent dogs attacks and ensure public safety
- does not promote responsible dog ownership
- compromise rights of responsible dog owners
- targets and often kills family pets that have no aggression or behavioral issues
- often includes dogs that might look like but are not the targeted breed
- continues to add breeds to its original list
- costs more then effective dangerous dog legislation
