American Bulldog from Chopper and Tazmire

Tuesday, July 8th, 2008

Hi Kinga and Martin!
We took Dozer to the vet today and got his first set of shots and deworming meds.
The vet thoroughly checked him over and said he was in perfect health. He had some
big fans at the vet clinic, he’s already charming everyone he meets! I’ve attached a
couple pictures. Rob with Dozer after our drive home, and Dozer with his new toys.
Thanks for the great pup, we’ll definitely keep in touch.

American Bulldog Puppies for sale

American Bulldog puppies from Chevelle and Cooper are 8 weeks now and ready to go to their new homes. Please call 905 921 9148 for more information on the puppies.

Responsible american bulldog breeders interview potential american bulldog puppy buyers. A minimal interview includes such questions as

* Are you aware of and do you intend to abide by the dog laws and regulations in your community?
* Do you have a fenced yard?
* Are there children in the family? How old are they?
* Are there other pets?
* Did you ever own the dog in the past? What happened to him?
* Do you plan to take the american bulldog to at least two sets of obedience classes for good manners?
* Do you intend to get involved in obedience, tracking, therapy work or other dog jobs?

These questions are not intended to pry or embarrass, they are meant to help place the best possible american bulldog puppy in each home.

Responsible american bulldog breeders ask for references, check with apartment managers, spend time with the whole family, observe the kids around the puppies, and require that pet-quality american bulldog puppies be spayed or neutered. They have contracts that protect the american bulldog, the buyer and themselves and offer to take the american bulldog puppy back if the buyer can no longer keep it – no matter the age. Many responsible breeders also microchip or tattoo their puppies for permanent identification and withhold the registration papers until the pup has been spayed or neutered.

Brooklyn puppies are 5 weeks - make your pick

The Fourth and Fifth Weeks

During this period, the puppy’s muscular development increases to the point where he can walk, run, and pounce
on his litter mates. It is a period of endless exploration, and the puppy’s interaction with his siblings teaches him a
lot, including when he’s biting too hard - which elicits a tough response from a littermate - and where he belongs in
the aristocracy of the pack - he will alternately sleep at the bottom and top of the puppy pile.

If the puppy is misbehaving, Mom occasionally may get involved by growling at him. This discipline sharpens the
puppy’s sense of right and wrong, which can make training easier. If dogs aren’t subject to this kind of discipline,
such as dogs who become orphaned, the human training process becomes that much more difficult.

During this time, the puppy’s teeth develop, and he may stop nursing. Around the fourth week, he can start eating
food specially prepared by Mom, which is food she chews and swallows and then regurgitates.

The latter portion of this time is when the puppy starts to become socialized with the human family, becoming more
aware of the sights and sounds in the house, as well asinteracting more with individual members.
